Assalamualikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
Hope this post finds you all in the best of health, eeman and ramadan spirits. I am sure, all of us are looking forward to Ramadan – with anticipation, joy and anxiety. The heart beats are racing, it’s just as though we are very close to that finish line, yet we all know it is just the beginning, Insha Allah of a fruitful and blessed time.
To help you out a bit, with the kids and their activities during Ramadan, I would like to share with you a small time table and activity book that I put together for the Children in our Institute. We were having a Quran Review Program that we have started a couple of weeks before Ramadan, so that we can complete the Quran Review prior to the last ten days of Ramadan. While the moms are busy studying we have an activity room for the younger kids wherein we are following this timetable and activity book. It is planned for 30 days, so possibly you can incorporate the same for 30 days of Ramadan. All the activities are taken from the web, except a few, it is just a compilation to help you all out. Hope it is of benefit to you all, remember me in your duas, and do leave a comment if you like it.

*Update*
Just to update you about the hadith stories that I have mentioned in my day to day layout, they are as below. It was actually a set of books, I had purchased long back and my kids enjoy them immensely, its by Dar al Fadila Publishers (see the image below). I don’t know if you can find them online, but most of the stories are well known, so you can always adapt according to your child. The stories are listed below,

The Boy and the magician of S.Burooj
Friends of the cave – where the 3 men are closed down by a boulder and they make dua using their good deeds
The three men tested by Allah, the Leper, the bald and the blind
The honest man and the river
The cloud and the Farmer
The monkey and the milk seller
The guilty and the good man – the two brothers, who took different ways but died contrary to what they were doing because of their final deed.
The Jar of Gold
The old Woman and the cat
The Dog and the Well
Some of them are authentic ahadeeth, and some I think are daeef, substitute the lesser known or da’eef one’s with the well known ahadith.
Take care,
Wassalaams
